LAU Alice Ramez Chagoury School of Nursing

New Students Join Alice Ramez Chagoury School of Nursing

On September 19, 2011, 28 young women and men began their studies at LAU’s Alice Ramez Chagoury School of Nursing, by attending an orientation program hosted by the nursing faculty and junior nursing students. The new group is the second nursing class admitted to LAU. The students represent all regions of Lebanon, hailing from as far south as Blida, as far north as Tripoli, and areas in between including the Bekaa, the Metn, greater Beirut, and the region around Jbeil. The new class joins 15 students who enrolled in the nursing major during academic year 2010-2011. During orientation they met the School’s faculty, learned more about the program, and participated in activities to get acquainted with each other. The junior nursing students gave the new class tips for academic success and suggestions for taking advantage of University-wide activities and services.
