Mr. Mahmoud Ghouzail joined the School of Nursing in September 2013. He comes to ARCSON after serving as a Registered Nurse/ Care Coordinator at the American University of Beirut Medical Center and as part-time clinical instructor at the LAU School of Nursing.

Mr. Ghouzail’s clinical nursing background is in medical/surgical and cardiac telemetry. His focus during his graduate studies and internship was nursing human resources, specifically recruitment and retention strategies. He has contributed to many initiatives in this field, including his work as an assistant Student Services Officer at the American University of Beirut School of Nursing. He was also active on several committees and councils, helping to recruit nurses to the hospital, create a nursing career ladder, initiate the Rapid Response Team, and administer and manage the Nurses’ Satisfaction Surveys.
Mr. Ghouzail is interested in improving the quality of nursing care delivery and ensuring holistic care to patients by preparing nurses and other healthcare providers with strong health systems knowledge and administrative skills. He is also actively involved in the Order of Nurses in Lebanon.
